Our maleic anhydride is produced by vapor fixed bed oxidation from benzene. It is white needle crystal with pungent odor. It sublimes,M.P 52.85°C , b.p 202°C , relative density 1.48 ( 20°C solid ) or 1.30(liquid 70°C ). Its solubility in all organic solvents.

Use:
Maleic Anhydride is the base material in unsaturated polyester resins, used in the manufacture of a wide Variety of consumer products, including paper sizes, coating, pharmaceutics, agricultural insecticide, additives of oil products and modified alkyd resins. The use of MA is also rapidly increasing for production of butanediol and its derivatives.
